Folks
Had a couple of spare hours today so thought i would try my hand at a bit of macro.
Not sure which one i like best but would really appreciate your critique, good or bad , if you have a couple of mins spare please
Both shot on a 10D, Sigma 28 - 80 HF Macro. Pic 1 was F 16 @ 1 sec, ISO 100
Picture 2 was F5.6 @\1/5 sec , ISO 100
Cheers

I definitely like the first shot better but then I'm not really an "abstract" art type person.

Thanks for the comments, Anyone else have a view on this ? Good - Bad - could have done it differently perhaps ?
Thanks

I like the 1st shot hands down over the second. I'm a macro nut myself, and have posted a few close-ups of flowers, coins, ect. Your shot is excellent, the sharpness and color are right on the moo-laa..Mackroe

I also like the first shot....the second shot is just too blurry to be welcoming to my eye.

Nice lighting........
Like the first shot
The 2nd shot is good too.........boring though (composition wise), I would've framed it in a diagonal..............

I think a combination of the two would have been best. The exposure/DOF of the first and the composition of the second. :)
