Well this is an interesting set of photos, and I am assuming that you shot with a DSLR.
The classical ballet shots are quite lovely. I do not follow the dance, so I was most impressed with the singles of the ballerina. However, many shots seemed distant, and a bit red. But the dancer stood out nicely against the tapestry-styled background. Wish that I could do as well with the G2, but at ASA 400 the grain would pop out!
The modern dance shots stirred my soul. The mood. The lighting. The colours. The perspective and angles. All add a bit of mystery. The male solo dancer was my favourite, although the angle and distance to the spot lights stretch the image balance. So too, the pair with a foreground female waist-up , bathed in blue light and shadows was runner up.
On close, the first set leaves behind a taste of repetition, while the second seems void of repetition. But here, relatively fewer shots worked perfectly. Those that did were a sight to behold.
