Here's a couple of tries at "doing it on the cheap". Both pieces were set on a piece of glass from a junked scanner that was painted with black paint. The background was a black velvet strip that came with the "light tent" I picked up at Samy's last year. The background was lit with a red and blue Kodak Wratten filter gel taped to a 430 Ex flash (the gels were found in a desk at work, thats what got this started.) And the diffusion and bounce for the main light was from a FEDEX foam liner from a document mailer bouncing my 580 EX. Improvise baby! Give me feedback I want to hear it!

Keep in mind this was just a "on the fly" thing to show a couple people at work some basics about lighting.
