Curious to know if the cheap ebay triggers out there can be fired via the PC sync cord? I have a 430EX that I want to keep on camera to utilize ETTL, can I also attach (via bracket) a wireless transmitter being triggered byt he PC cord to a manual flash off camera? Hopefully that makes sense.

Or would I just get a hotshoe PC adapter to make it work?

You can put a flash on the hotshoe and use the PC port on the 30D at the same time.

Typically radio slave sets (expensive or inexpensive) come packed with a short cord that you can connect the transmitter to a PC port.

Enjoy! Lon
