So Photoguy let me know a few problems with the one decent pic in a series I recently shot. I have a few variations I'd like to run passed you guys, and be as harsh or as kind as you like; I can take it :)

original edit:

reflections cleaned up:

added some grafitti, which may or may not look any good; I've been starring at this to long so I'll let you all decide.

nice, the reflections on the window being fixed make the image 10x better i think.

I like the graffiti as well.

yea I agree, it was some solid advice for sure! from now on I;'ll always check my reflections! never thought to even lol but it makes a big difference.

So the grafitti is ok? cool, spent a fair amount of time to try to make it look realistic!

Better! I wish you'd put the great looking graffiti on the truck at the right & made it a darker blue, too.
Keep in mind that our eyes are drawn to the brighter parts of the shot. And those bright areas tend to make the dark car look even darker. Take a look at POST #30 near the bottom: The gray bar at the center is the same density all the way across.

Maybe nobody would have noticed that the reflection wasn't of the truck. :D

When I scroll down and only see the lower 55% of the image, it looks great. Good lighting on the car. The blown out white trailer might be the distraction catching my eyes.

What is the machined aluminum thing hanging down behindthe fascia? Looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

You need a dude with a gray wig sitting in that car. Oh wait, I was 25 and bought a just out of three year lease Grandma Quis, so what do I know. :)

haha yea it's a total grandpa car but it's awesome to molest corvettes and see their face when they realize they got pwned by a buick regal lol!

The aluminum thing is his Front mount intercooler.

sory, what do you mean nobody would notice the reflection was of the truck? I attempted to put the grafitti on the white trailer, however trying to produce the proper reflections onto the car looked WAY TOO distracting imo.

I said, "I wish you'd put the great looking graffiti on the truck at the right & made it a darker blue, too.". I meant keep the (fairly) clean hood as it is. I suspect that the lack of graffiti in the hood wouldn't be noticed? And the (dark) blue instead of white truck would keep more attention on the car.

oh you tihnk I could get away wit that?

I'll give that a try; a stickler would definately point it out... maybe I'm just paranoid.

and thanks rmodys!
