Hey, I just discovered that the Kodak Professional Photoguide and the Pocketguide are "out of print." I couldn't find a new copy of the Photoguide anywhere. I finally found a place online that says they have a new Pocketguide for sale.

So, what's up with that? Back when I was shooting (the era just prior to the dark ages) the "Guides" were indispensable tools. Are they really gone forever?

PS, during my search, I went to my local Ritz Camera store. No one working there had even heard of the Kodak Professional Photoguide! :rolleyes:

It also sounds like, judging from other recent posts, that those guys haven't heard of Canon either!

I was in the HalfPriced Books (used books) store just last week and found both of these:)
Possibly the only place you will find them.

OK, I just got an email from Tiffen. They bought the publication rights from Kodak back in 1994.

"George, The Kodak professional Photo Guide is discontinued. The last edition was the 6th. We have no stock remaining on this item.
