I like these. I like the ideas of your compositions. I like the last two but the car is a bit dark. Some lighting on this side would make a world of difference. It must be nice to find a deserted street that is that nice to shoot.

Good drama in the last two. Try some in late light: A few Car Lighting Tips - Updated (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=70290)

2 and 3 look fantastic!

Thank you for sharing, absolutly love the design of these cars :)

Nice to find a deserted street as said above... must have had to get up early for that?

No kidding...believe it or not, that shot was taken in downtown Memphis on a late Saturday afternoon. We had to deal with a few cars, a trolley and a couple bums, but I was surprised with how vacant it turned out to be. We had a couple people stop and pull out their own cameras thinking it was some kind of important photoshoot.

Thanks for the comments guys! I appreciate the critiques.

In the last two, I do agree the car is a little dark on the left side. Some extra light would have been useful. However, I do like the natural contrast of the composition.

I'm beginning to think about adding some lights to my gear. If you guys have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Right now, I'm looking to get an alien bee b1600 with the 48" umbrella (or maybe the 42"x30" softbox). I don't need anything too expensive considering I'm still learning, but I've heard great reviews about the alien bees and it doesn't seem like you can beat the price. I've also considered buying another 430 speedlite, a couple stands and two umbrellas.

You know some closer crops would be nice but, your composition was executed so well that it doesn't bother me. Everyone of the images bring my eye straight to the car.
The 350z is my dream car but, till i can come up with some money ill have to stick with my 95' civic ;)

I like 3 and 6. The lighting is not perfect but the composition is very very good.

You would also need to adjust your WB on the 3rd one.
