Obviously that Sperm whale was too late to help.

I know it happens often at Whatipu, and I was there the other night. I was half hoping to see some whales off shore, but don't want to see one beach itself, and not being able to help.

I'm also looking at getting a Canon DSLR soon. I in fact broke my Sony V1 on Sunday. Don't think it's repairable, so I must come up with some way of getting money to buy something new.
