I recently got a canon digital camera and I really like the features, especially where I can shoot mini moves. I have tried to email a movie (about 2 mins in length) and it just plugs the email up and never gets sent. Is there a program out there to compress these files and send them over email? Can anyone help me?:(

I downloaded TMPGEnc ver 2.524 however it doesn't recognise the MVI file
Any suggestions?

Humm...works for me. All I can imagine is that either their server was busys when you tried or their server doesn't like your server/file.

What is the file size that you are trying to sending? What type of internet connection do you have? What type of internet connection does the person you are sending the file have?

Windows XP comes with Movie Maker. If you upgrade to ver 2, for free, you have a fairly easy way to compress/convert AVI files to WMV which are smaller. You can also resize to a smaller diminsion which will also reduce the file size.

If you do not want to reduce the quality or size it might pay to simply put the movie on a cd or dvd and mail it.
