Contrary to popular belief, I could actually get the camera up to eye level to grab a shot or two yesterday. Sure it was cold but hell, I live here, I'm supposed to like it (not)

As I sit here admiring your wonderful photos, I note ironically that there is a slight bead of persipiration forming on my brow. It is going to be in the 80s here today, and I must decide whether or not to turn on the air conditioning. :p :p :p :p
Nice Ian...I look forward to seeing more of the shots that you, Sheldon, and Scott got. On the elk shots, please try to make sure the carrot shows in each photo. We really don't want people getting the wrong idea.

Those are great shots, Ian. Very nice. :D
Now, tell us, really, how long did it take before you were able to get the camera thawed and unstuck from your face?

Thanks guys.
Leo,
It wan't that cold, about -12C with the wind chill. Rather pleasant except for the semi frozen fingers. Tonight it will be a little chiller, -35C with the windchill. Damn!

Beautiful shots. It was bitter 55 degrees Farenheight here this morning. This better not last. ;)

If it was 55F right now I'd be outside in a T-shirt. Right now it's about 6F with a 20mph wind. It's almost unpleasant.
