Hi, This is a noobie question. I'm thinking of sending some photos for printing up to like 20x24 size.

I would just like to know what sort of resolution / file format I would need to print at such a size.

Is sending in 100% quality JPGs enough or should I convert them to TIFF? Or it actually depends on the photo-shop? I know the photo-shop uses photoshop software.

Thanks

I usually send full size tiff's at the max resolution they can print. (150ish) I don't want them editing my shots so I set them up exactly like they want them for print. So far the uploads are a little larger but the prints turn out exactly like I want them. I personally wouldn't send jpg due to the compression factor on top of you blowing up the shot past native resolution.
