I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.
Yesterday I was doing an outdoor photo shoot with a few models.
Pulled out the old Peleng 8mm for a few shots, I was shooting in raw format, and when I looked through my camera I could see the pictures, but the pics were not there when I went to veiw them using the card reader!!!
Anyone know of any reason the fisheye pics disappeared?

I doubt it's related to the lens. More likely either the sequence of actions you had in reviewing the pictures or a card problem. Search here for threads on picture recovery. There are a bunch, even in the last few days, like this (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=538357).

I remember seeing a thread about this before.. the files transferred with Canon's software, but not with a card reader if I remember correctly? I completely forget why though.. maybe try Canon's software in the meantime?

I also remember hearing something about this, but can't remember the details since it didn't affect me. Maybe there's a firmware upgrade that will fix this?

Ok, here's what I did!
I put the fisheye back on the camera and POOF the pictures reappeared on the card!
So I just downloaded the pics directly from the camera!
Weird but it worked! Thanks for your help.
