I rented the 300mm f4 IS to see if that lens would be a good zoo lens. Turns out it is a great zoo lens! The length was very good most of the time and the IS came in very handy!

I like it. I did these rather quickly as I wanted to get them posted for my nephew to review. It was his first trip to the zoo with his new camera and we wanted to compare shots.

I will re-work that one when I get home. Thanks.

Beautiful shots! What camera are you using?

I am using a Canon D60. So far the D60 has done everything very well as long as I keep it at or below ISO 400. Still has some trouble focusing in low light, but I knew that before I bought it. I got is used for a good price and have been very happy with it so far.

That zoo tiger...
Is it a Bengal tiger or a Siberian tiger? The colors are very similar.

I like the color in the 'after' tiger shot above. All in all some very nice shots.
