Hello Everyone!

I just got my G9 and now, as before, I have troubles whenever I need to focus while shooting landscaping. If I would shoot portrait, sports or macros, I figured it out and often I use Manual or I just try to use "center" so I have more control. How would I do it when I need to shoot a mountain (as an example)? The picture is in distance and it's hard to get a crisp picture (I wish to get something close to a postcard).

Thanks for your advise in advance!

With the huge DOF in-focus on these small-sensor cameras, I can't believe anyone would ever have any object in a landscape OOF. Maybe with objects only a few inches from the lens...

Use FlexiZone AF and select your AF area manually, or set it to the center - focus and recompose. Like skid00skid00 said, with these little sensors and a moderate aperture you can get darn near everything in focus - especially if you utilize the hyperfocal setting.
