This is my first attempt at a photo of a car. What do you think?

I added a blur to the building in ps. Should I have left it alone?

Suzy, I think you did a nice job. No bad reflections. Not the best time of day to shoot but I think you pulled it off ok. The tires are a little lost but you can add a layer mask and bring them back if you want to.

I think the blur is ok, a different, more interesting background would be great!

on a side note... if you are looking for another 73 chevelle to restore, let me know, I have one sitting here, waiting for someone with the time/money to restore it.

you didnt blur the part of the building you can see through the windows. make sure to keep that in mind next time

you didnt blur the part of the building you can see through the windows. Good catch. Most people forget that the first time. Nice blur of the building & the location doesn't take attention away from the car. Watch the reflections in the side next time.

I like that you used backlight when the sun is high, but would rather see it shot in the "late light".

Thanks for the advice. Next time I will definitely wait until later in the day.

You're right. I totally missed that, thanks!

I think one "project car" is enough...my husband would probably have a different opinion. ;) In any case, I'm sure he would love to see pictures!
