new 10D user

hey guys, I just got a used 10D for 800 with about a gig of memory. But I tried USBing some pictures on to my computer and it didn't seem to work. I didn't get a software disc, but I have had a canon S30 before and I have that software, but it can't detect the camera. any help guys?

You will have to go here, http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=SupportIndexAct, and download the camera drivers from Canon. Or easier yet buy a card reader and transfer your pictures from it. If you have USB 2.0 on your computer a 2.0 cardreader is the only way to go. much faster.
