I just need something for the occasional friends/family shoots I want to do.

This is simple but it feels like its missing something.

Not keen on the cartoon camera image, but if you want to go that route, have you tried a larger one with the text over it?

No I haven't. I have a few other ideas I want to test out too, just finding the time is killing me!

Don't care for the camera and drop shadow. Also the background text is a bit distracting. Maybe set the opacity about 50% less on the background would help.

I want to get rid of the background text period. I just don't have the software here to do it right now. I'll play with it some more tonight with the feedback I get from here.

I actually used to be good at graphic design and now I'm really scratching my brain...

LOL!! I've done several logos here and other forums (small fee), but I had 'help' from a friend that is a graphic designer when I designed my own logo! If your interested PM me and I may be able to help you. You've got a great start, I think it needs some 'refining'. :D

The front is simply the centered, colour logo, whilst the back has a larger shadowed version of the logo and any information (e.g. address, email, telephone, website) would be placed here.

The more I think about it I wouldn't mind having a charcoal card. I'm not a huge fan of lots of white... More ideas to come.
