High Country Color . . .

This is perhaps one of the shots from last fall (Oct. 3, 2004) that I like the best. It was raining and we went to the car for shelter. As photographers often do, we waited for a break in the weather. After only a few minutes we were rewarded with this most pleasing, (to us) shot of fresh yellow, backlit by a cloudy sun. With clean, clear air and drops of fresh rain still on the leaves, we shot away until the next down pour in four or five minutes. But the shots we got in-between rain shower were . . . well what we like them perhaps best from last year.
