Remember when you could find a payphone on every corner? They are becoming a dying breed...destroyed by the cell phone industry. When I was a kid, I always made sure to carry some change in case I needed to call home. While I concede to technology, I still find it somewhat sad to see something that was so much a part of society just slowly disappear.
While out walking my dogs early one morning, I came accross the ruins of a past phone. I really liked the way the early morning sun cast the shadow against the building. Comments welcome!! :)

I like it, man. Very simple yet it catches your eye.

Nice shot! I was thinking the same thing a couple of weeks ago. We were downtown and my son went over to explore what a pay phone was like... This is definitely not the best photo (I think it was taken with my cellphone), but you get the idea.

I like the shot. It's a bit bright/flat for me, but the shadow really helps the shot. Nice work.

We don't see them in Detroit anymore, they are being stolen for scrap metal. ;)

In Hong Kong they have added Wifi hotspots to all the phone booths. Giving them a reason to be there again. :)

My wife drove all over town the other day trying to find a pay phone. They are rapidly disapearing.

I like the shot well enough, except for it being crooked.

Thanks for the comments :)

LOL...I noticed the crooked part shortly after uploading it. Being too lazy to fix it, I was just hoping no one else would notice.....Thanks Alot ;)
