Who's up for some photoshop vision?

So I have this photo that is pretty boring. A guy playing accordion, showing no emotion, on a black background. He has good color in his skin, orange and green, and thats natural. Everything else isn't. I took a separate photo with a long shutter speed, popped that into the frame, messed with it, and voila, perhaps good, perhaps crap. Thoughts?

I like the effect, but probably not for this picture. It would work better, IMO, if the accordion player was "Jammin" on the accordion or something. The effect is pretty cool tho!

Well the reason I visualized this was specifically because of the lack of rock out. If he were going at it with emotion, I feel that would speak well enough on it's own and it wouldn't need the treatment I gave it.

I actually do like this...like you said, it brings a little more life to the photo. Nice job.

I like it - has more interest than just a guy on black background with that lighting.
