EE and PhotoShelter

Hi Pekka and all,
This is kind of a long shot question, is it possible to integrate ee2 with images held on other servers such as PhotoShelter. I really think the answer will be No, but I thought I would ask just encase it is possible.

I am starting to get a large amount of content that I cannot manage with EE, such as full Hi Res downloads and keeping track of who is downloading etc.

Yes it is possible if there is an FTP access. I did that in my beginnings of setting up EE. I used two Servers, one form my internet access provider, the other from my hosting provider...

Worked without a problem...
