There's only one allowed reason - your reason - to buy things? ;)

I never thought I bought talent when buying my gear, I bought gear that would enable me to practice at getting better taking certain pictures. BulbMogul has the gear, so now he can practice. I suspect I'm probably not yet "worthy" of my gear either by your standards and compared to your skills. I'm not about to put it up on eBay because of that though. :)

Anyway, I just think it's a bit unnecessary to attack the mogul just for having the means to pursue his interest, whatever it may be, and whatever he may use his lens collection for.

Over and out. :)

I did, and it appears that he made no inflammatory comments, rather was attacked by snooty people who felt they were above him, because he has the income to buy expensive toys, and can't make the most of them.

Well, good luck to you - that's a great picture, and as long as you don't get your money by hurting people, then all the best to you.

Of course, were you to decide you've got too many, and want to lend a lens or two out, I wouldn't say no! ;).

Sheesh children. The man has the cash to get his lenses. What is wrong with that ? Instead of attacking him, we should make more questions about his gear and perhaps learn a thing or two. If I had the money to burn. Would I buy all those guns..in a heartbeat and then some...:) That is why I rent gear that I can't afford (or convince my self enough that I do :) ). In the case of cwphoto...he makes a LIVING with them...so chill.

My motto: If you've got it, flaunt it. Well, that kind of applies to a matter other than lenses. But hey, that's an awesome collection. Use it well.

Hi Sauk, No I have not ventured out yet with either the 600mm or 800 for Moon Shots yet. Thought I would give it a try 1st with the nakkid 500mm. I also dont own and extenders at the present moment.

Cheers, Jerry
