It was time for a new avatar. I think she'll do.

Well this one is much better looking than the last avatar too.

I think you must have quite a selection of "keepers" from the weekend. This is yet again another outstanding shot.

I think you must have quite a selection of "keepers" from the weekend. This is yet again another outstanding shot. I may be halfway through at this point. It was an outstanding weekend, and I got lots of great pictures. I must have 6 or 8 pics worthy of 16x20 and frames.

I've yet to go through the wolf twins or the rest of the wolves from Omega, or any birds shots besides the posted eagle. I may be posting until Saturday.

None of the Rigaud deer are worthy of posting though, though it is nice to have pics of deer from Rigaud. (Yes, I finally believe...)

On Saturday, at Omega, we took a walk that was unbearable. I think we last 2.5 minutes shooting the wolves and moose and practivally ran back to the car. Ian estimated about 0F plus wind.

On Sunday, this day, it wasn't so bad. Probably 15F but little or no wind and some sunshine. We managed almost hour between visits to the warm building.

Really nice, Scott ... the background is almost shimmering (a cool effect).

Hmmm... yeah, I um, did that on purpose, yeah. I call it "shimmer-bokeh" - yeah...
:-)

I really wish I know how that happened so I could do it again. It does look pretty cool.

Thanks.

I never really noticed the background in this until now. It is pretty cool.

It undoubtedly eminates right off of the animal as a direct result of the steady diet of poutine that they recieve.

Did someone say poutine.
