alright so i am about to charge this haha. i have two 580ex II. i am going to get stands from them somewhere else. probably cheap ones for now. I think i need to get two more receivers...is that correct? they would have to be the battery powered receivers. there is a 2 week delay on them :( So ill get them later.

That's a very nice portable strobe kit. If I have the Vagabond, I doubt that I would need the VCA car adaptor, because for a single B800, the Vagabond could provide over 1000 full flashes.

To take advantage of the strobe, I also suggest to get a softbox.

I would suggest you spring for the heavy duty stand. The difference is amazing and for outdoor use the heavier stand would be good.

You will need the HD stand if you take Lotto's advice and get the softbox.

dang well i went ahead and bought it. ill use that stand for a 580ex and get some heavy duty for the alien bee
