I have just purchased Lightroom, after playing with the trial happily. Really like it. One thing I am unable to do, though. When I create a slideshow and try to add a soundtrack, I am unable to access the actual track. I have tried to locate the file in different locations, but no use. I did what it says to do: create a folder and place the mp3 files in it. Then select soundtrack in Slideshow module and browse for track. I can access the folder, but I am unable to open the folder to access the track. It will not play the track if I just select the folder. What am I doing wrong?

Hi.
I am using LR 1.4 and have been able to include an mp3 soundtrack with my slideshows. What you need to do is select the folder that contains the mp3's. You cannot select the mp3 files individually. LR will then play though all the mp3's in the folder you selected while your slide show is running.
Hope this helps.

P.S. If you save your slideshow as a pdf, the audio track will not be included in the file.

That's what I had been doing and it wasn't working. THEN, I looked at all my songs I had ripped and found Vista's default ripping format was wma, not mp3. SO, I tried ripping a song to mp3 format. BINGO!:D
Thanks for the information.
