My friend in NZ is neither computer nor camera literate and keeps sending me vast files in MIME format. I have managed so far to get the information that she has an Ixus V bought at airport (no backup from dealer) and is using Outlook Express to email me.(plain text arrives ok).She seems to be using Canon software to try to send an email when she wants to attach a photo, retaining her sanity when she is just attaching text files. I only use a Sony which takes straight to floppies and have no knowledge of this stuff that changes my setup. Any suggestions for this miserable creature?
