Hi,

I have a big shoot in the UK in June that I will need a printer on site for. Here in the US we use a Kodak 8500 for on site printing and am looking to match that in the UK. We do not want to transport the printer from US to UK so are planning to purchase one there and then perhaps resell it at the end of the event for a great price. So, first question is where in the UK is the best place to buy an 8500? and secondly would anyone here be interested in purchasing after the event for a great price after only a few days of use?
Let me know

Jeremy

Why not go for the cheaper 14000. Same quality, but a slightly slower speed. A lot cheaper.

If so, I would be interested in buying this after the event. The 8500 is far too expensive unless you have huge (I mean huge) volumes to print.

Go to yahoo.co.uk and search for UK sites with your printer model. This will give you a very good selection of retailers.

Those prices don't add upp as taxes are 17.5% in the UK.

Also Park Cameras has only got one left and is selling this at a reduced price.

RRP for the 1400 is £340 excl. and £400 incl. taxes.

Hi folks,

just to clarify on the points made.

the Recomended Retail Price RRP for the kodak 8500 is £936 (thats including vat) and the price that park are offering it for is £649 which is also including tax, they quote both on their website so that you can see what a saving you are making. Hope that helps
