I received a year ago from Canon a refurbished 5D, Is there any way to tell how old it is and how many click on it before being refurbished.

I know this is an old post but what the hell... From what I've read, the only people who would know would be Canon Engineers who have special software to read things like this. Some refurb. models never even make it into a consumers hands. Sometimes they do. It's a hit and miss situation. Or is it Swing and Miss? Hmm

Sigma lens are fairly inexpensive and can be sharp and agile depending on whether you get a good copy of one. I bought a 30mm F1.4 and had focusing issues. I didn't have time to bother with sending it in to Sigma to get Calibrated so I just returned it and ended up getting a Tokina 10mm-17mm 3.5 Fisheye lens. It was my second lens behind the 30mm Sigma. That's the only experience I have with Sigma.
