Hi All, I just bought a 10D off Ebay w a 28-200 Tamron lens. Just curious what the lens quality is. I paid only $845 for the camera including the battery accessory so the lens is more or less a freebe. I will be doing Architectural interiors and will want a good wide angle either prime or zoom. Any suggstions? Under $400? One more thing, are any of my lenses from my A1 compatable or adaptable?
Thanks

Most people will say the Tamron 28-200 lens sucks. If you stop it down to around f8 it should be fine. You got a good price on the camera so I would not worry about it.
I have a Tokina 19-35 3.5-4.5 and I need a good super zoom for the campus paper and am looking for a trade. Let me know if you are interested via pm.

Thank you for the input. I will try it out and see how it performs. I assumed that I will have to stay in the "middle" of the lens on my shots. I will be buying a fast wide angle for the work that I do and it will be my primary lens. I will probably be buying a Canon unless someone comes up with an alternative suggestion.
