Here are a few shots of the EC130 that wife and I rode on (well one of em) in Las Vegas last week while taking a Hoover Dam/Las Vegas strip tour.

Looks like the 'co-pilot' was told to move his feet to the right so he doesn't touch the pedals... :D

Nice pictures Robert.
Were you using your 28-125 lens in the helicopter?

 Actually it was just the pilot. No co-pilots on these tours. So unless you know how to fly in case something happens to the pilot, you're screwed  The feet you see was the tallest guy on my flight....he and his wife took the seats wife and I wanted. Of course the pilot determined that cause he was balancing out the weight in the helicopter.

For the pilot . I was all set from the moment I stepped in.;)
Nice pictures Robert.

Thanks Tim. Yes, I was using the 28-135mm (I am assuming you had a typo) the kit lens with my 40D. During that flight, I was really needing something with a wider aperture. I was reluctant to bump up the ISO so I could minimize the noise in the shots. Some suffered with vibration/motion blur as a result.

Robert, yes you assumed correctly, I did mean the 28-135. I'm going up in a traffic helicopter for a 2 hour ride next week and I was debating which lens to take, the EFS 10-22 or my 24-105. Hopefully they will let me take both lenses.

TimI wouldn't see why you couldn't take both.
Here are some links to other threads from that ride where I used the 28-135mm. I think the 24-105 would be the better choice...you can see where I zoomed all the way in to 135mm in the Hoover Dam shots.
EDIT: I take that back, just checked the EXIF and I was at 117mm. So I had a bit of room. I think I deleted the one where I zoomed in all the way.
