This was one of the first shots I took with my S1IS... I am posting the image as is.. with no editing... looking for comments, criticisms, and critiques.. My intent was to capture the sun and it's reflection as it naturally looked while preserving the "life" of the rest of the image... Just thought I would share this..

Nice job!
I like the framing, and how large the sun is. I also like how the grass(?), sand, and water divide up the lower half.

The yellow theme is perfect. In addition that lone person walking lends an air of mystery and anticipation, gives the picture a kind of story line.

Thanks for the thoughtful comments.. I appreciate it. I was very excited with this shot, being one of the first I had actually taken with this camera... even though it's not a full on DSLR.. it's got quite a lot of functionality built in which I am still trying to learn before i move up... :lol:
