View Full Version : Small plant bug on margeurite

Plant bug about 3mm body length. This ran round the back of the flower, speared an aphid and then finished it off on a petal.
ID'd a Pilophorus species - possibly P. cinnamopterus

Hiya Brian,

Excellent shots, that looks hellish hard to capture nicely, Black, Yellow & White what a combo that's asking for trouble :lol:

What an excellent series of such a small subject!

What are you using for lighting here? Great exposure!

Brian again I am amazed at your ability to capture these little events with such a great series! Excellent work. I think I should try and retire early so I can plant a garden and shoot macro :D

Can't help feeling it looks like the adult of the nymph below which had been ID'd as something different. Both shots taken in the same place
