SDK, Remote, collaboration

Is anyone with programming experience interested in collaborating on a VB Interface to the SDK? I am going to do it for a private project, but I thought there might be someone interested in sharing the work and the Payoff! We could make a sharware version of the inteface or an example .exe.
My plan:
create the VB interface to the .libs
create a custom App in VB

I would definitely like to di this with you since I don't really like C++, i'm using most of the time VB to create apps. I don't have much experience in doing such ports since I've only ported some libs to C++ Standard dlls (not ActiveX) to VB. there were quite simple though, a dozen simple functions or so, but I have a lot of experience with VB. I can tell I know it by heart (7 or 8 years of experience - Since VB 1 actually :)).
I'm still waiting for a week for the canon registeration and I don't know if I will go through, so you will have to send me the SDK by mail, if you want me to share work with you.

It took about a week for it to get to me so let me know when you get it. I am looking at the C++ API right now, so lets see what can be done. There are a lot of dlls required so it appears at first glance that it will be kind of mucky...lets see what happpens.
