Where else, from Omega Parc last weekend. Not sure of the official name of this animal but they could sure navigate the rocks.

Ian - if you still have the map, you want to look this one up.

Wow,. those are geogous! I love these big guys :)

Is it just a "mountain goat" .. or something more exotic sounding?

Wow, that second one is superb!

I wish that our driver had turned the car around - I couldn't see the buggers!

OK OK Where? Nice shots. Its always better to shoot animals with a canon, a riffle is so messy.

Did I tell you that Liz lives in Rigaud down by the river?
Just checked out the map and there is a photo of this guy (goat, not Scott) but no name.

What language is that? Does it mean "Excuse me but I really need to use the restroom?"

I was too lazy to look it up myself and I thought Ian could use the exercise of finding the map again.

I used to see mountain goats a lot up at Glacier National Park the year I lived in Great Falls but they were always sort of a dirty white in color, not brown. I don't know if their horns get quite that big but they do have a similar curvature. The fur color in your photos look rather like the color of Bighorn Sheep but the horns are very different. So I'm still wondering....

That's kind of you, thinking about Ian's health and all. At first I thought you wanted to hear about him suffering on the long, cold walk out to the Aztek. But your concern for his wellbeing is touching.
