Took this while walking to my friend's house. Taken in RAW mode, exposure, contrast, brightness and a few other things edited. Desaturated for the B&W effect..

Taken with the 18-55 kit lens, iso 1600, 1/60 exposure, f5.6. Let me know what you guys think...

That picture would look much better if you cropped the bottom half out I think. Just get a hair below the lights and look at it in your screen. Much more classic. Good shot!

Hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty.....not that I'm an expert or anything, but I would try something closer to this. I also did it with a slight blur, very artsy looking.

I like the original one myself. It lends a feel to the pic of the quiet street with the snow falling. Nice work.
