Made this photo at the Hellendoorn Rally in the Netherlands. I couldn't see the car coming behind the oil-drums as I was sitting low down on the tarmac. But a friend of mine standing behind me warned me that this car was coming in way too fast... I just hit the shutter release on my 1d. This one is one of many pictures of this car plowing through the artificial chicane :rolleyes:

this was from a little mountain run we had, brake fade ftl. Was scary there for a bit, you cant tell but its a 50 foot drop to where he stopped. Lucky he didnt roll it.....

Yep, the only one within a reasonable driving distance unfortunately.

GSH: dont know what it was about that weekend but everyone seemed to be going off at that corner, usually i miss all the accidents.

This series was taken at the 2007 World Superbikes round at Phillip Island (Australian supersports or superbikes support race maybe?). I can't recall, but I think I used a 100-400 at the time and the shots were taken from a fair distance away. The crash happened at turn 1 and I was on the other side of the track at Siberia.
