I just wanted to say "Thank you" to Pekka for running this board, and everyone who contributes to this board. I would specifically like to say thanks to Scottes, CDS, TQ, & gmitchel. I learned an a ton from their Post Processing tips & tutorials.

Without you, I would have given up on photography a few days after I started. Post processing was so "over my head".

For example; with this original...

this is the best I could do after several HOURS of processing on my own...

Now, after ~ 10 minutes, this is what I can do after using the info I found here.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You've made post processing FUN! :D :D :D :D

Really, thank you.

I agree............all the labor and hard work put in by the admin. & mods. is amazing. I was also lost when it came to "Post processing" now I find, with wth help I have received from this board, post processing is almost as much fun as shooting pictures.

I'm always pleased to hear that people find my comments and resources help them achieve pleasing results. :) That's what it's all about.

Thanks for taking the time to let me know I've helped. :)

Cheers,

Mitch

Done in a couple minutes. My golden set of rules is to use Levels picking your white and black. Then Hue/Saturation to bring out the colors. [EDITED] I keep thinking I should make a tutorial on this sort of thing. :o

Do it! :D I just USM, then play with levels and curves. Never really played with Hue/Saturation.
