Ok, so I posted a picture of my wifes belly a couple weeks ago. This week, we tried to get it printed out at 11x14. It looked ok, but I was overall disappointed with the paper/capabilities of my local print shop. They are looking into getting me a better print, but I am sorta loosing confidence. To top it off, they quoted a price of 14.95, then changed it to $25.... I looked online at MPix, and even registered, but they offer a sample gallery for you to order prints off of? So my question is, if I use them to print, do they then offer my pic for others to print? That doesn't seem right unless they get you to sign off on you rights to the photo after you upload it? Does anyone know the deal there??? I am aching to try and print off a 20 x 30, but wary about giving up the rights to the image...
Thanks for any help,
Boone

I would highly doubt that they'd offer it to others - it would be a huge copyright infringement, and I'm sure they don't want the hassle. I know that you can post images on Mpix for others to view, but you can also have some or all of your galleries private.

I really don't know for sure about them sharing, but this is so unlikely in my opinion that it would not be a concern for me. I plan on using Mpix for my next batch of prints - if I ever find time to work on 7 months of shots...
