I'm trying to make contact sheets for proof books but i run into the problem when I have 2 horizontal images next to each other - there's not enough space in between them. Is there an easy solution for this problem? I'm using cs3. Thanks! See example below.

I think if you un-tick "Use auto spacing", you can set your own margins. I've never tried it.

I did try that but it's weird because then the image name is way too far to the right of the image...

That's odd.

I just tried it, and it worked ok for me ...

what did you set the horizontal and vertical to?

Is it relevant? 4x4, I think.

here's a pic - I used 1 inch margins for horizontal and vertical

Hmmm, I can't figure out what's going on here.

Looking at your posted image, it seems that you've got an inch around the edge, but what's the margin between the columns and rows?

Can you post a screenshot of your Contact Sheet II settings?

how do you do that? Do you have to take a pic? I made the canvas size bigger after but when it asks you what you want for horizontal and vertical I put 1 in

If you're on a PC, you've got a "Print Screen" key on your keyboard near the backspace key.

Open the dialog, take a screen snapshot, then close the dialog and open a new blank document, and Ctrl V to paste the shot in.
