Most shot with 300mm F/4 and 1.4x teleconverter, some 300mm alone, except for person in tree with 50mm. watershot was canon 10-22mm in spl waterhousing. All shots taken with 20d or 30d

The 2nd to last shot is great. I just don't like the odd shaped crops.

they link to your web site is very slow. Which beach was this taken at.

crops came out weird on a few of them, i agree. working on cleaning that up. these were all taken at a number of different beaches in southern nicaragua. its about 20 miles of coast line that has 15-20 breaks. colorados, rancho santana, rosada and many others. thanks for the input everyone. working on the site as well... it is loading really slow, thanks for the heads up-

Those are nice shots and my favorite being the barrel shot (2nd to the last picture). Uncrowded lineups, warm water, and barrels....you don't get much better than that.

thanks everyone. it really was warm water, great waves, and very few people in the line ups. of course andy irons, mike parsons and corey lopez showed up to snake a few good ones the first few days we were there, along with matthew mcconhaugth or however its spelt. pretty funny seeing him surf

haha hes terrible. i mean, he can stand up, and ride the wave...but, hollywood makes him about to be the next slater of surfing actors and hes just like anyone else

So does he actually do the surfing for that new surfing movie he is doing? (which looks to be a disgrace to surfing, of course)

Looks like you had an awesome trip and got some good swell as well as some great pictures. They make me really say, screw work I'm leavin, haha.

just look at the trailer and there is no way that its him surfing. the stunt double can really surf a longboard. im curious to know now who they got to do it

haha of course. Next trip is Rhode Island I believe... lighthouse and lineup shots... could be cool. we shall see though. hell by the plane ticket and come hang out

thanks for the comments. we had swell 10 of the 11 days we were there. its picks up anything rolling through really, and even when there is no swell, its still 3-4 and really fun
