View Full Version : Looking Out My Back Door . . .

I think that was the name to an old CCR tune . . . lol, however this evening when I poked my head out of my back door there were seven or eight deer working over the apples we left on the trees for them. This one might of walked in the house, had we let her. Out here we live within two miles of a primitive forest area, so we get deer a lot and most years see a Moose or two as well in the yard. The shot is not up to usual 'snuff' but to get within six feet or so, regardless of how much light there is is worth pushing the button for. Hope you folks enjoy this cute one . . .

I'd be worried if it were in my backyard...all that snow that is.
Great photo.

LOL, thanks folks . . . I wish the lighting was better and or it was not so darn foggy . . . not a show piece but a fun shot(s). I am going to set out some carrots and see if I can attract in some Elk . . . I understand that is how to get shots of them. <grinn>

On the way out toward the ranch I happened upon this 'gaggle' of browsers . . . eking out a meal in the creek bottoms. We have plenty . . . come and get them if you need some in your neck of the woods.
As to the 'carrots' we will see what we get, lol.

On the way home from town today I found this beauty in the lane . . . nice little doe. This is why I try to always have a camera at hand.
