Where to buy A720IS

Where would you buy an A720IS?

I would like to help my son find a decent point and shoot, and this seems to be a good one, but I'm having trouble finding a deal on one.

You can still buy through some stores at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-A720IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B000V1VG2E/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1217884149&sr=8-1) with one of them selling it for a whopping $ 345 + shipping ($30)!

Check Sears. I just bought one there recently for $160.

I see them with a google search. They are going for $210 to $220 or so. I got mine in January from Amazon for $193. Don't buy from TechonDigital. I ordered the camera from them online. They had to call me to "confirm" my order before it could be processed. They gave me a hard sell on accessories. When I declined to buy anything else they told me that the camera they were selling was a Grey market camera and would have to be shipped to Asia if I ever needed service. It seemed to me that they simply didn't want to sell me the camera at their price unless I also bought their over priced accessories. I got two 4 gig Ultra II SD cards thru Amazon for $41 each. TechonDigital sells a 512 MB standard speed SD card for $60. If you want 2 gigs the one they sell goes for $100. If you want high speed they sell a 2 gig Ultra VI for $219. If you buy the standard speed 2 gig card at Amazon it is $94 less than TechonDigital or only $6.48.

Yeah I don't know if it was because they were clearing them out or what but it was a great price.

yea i had ordered one through Dell when it was on sale for like $160 .. after a delay email .. i check status the other day saying the order was cancelled due to it being discontinued and no more production from manufacture. booooo.

ended up getting a SD1100IS from CC yesterday for $180 after price adjustment and coupon.
