Jeez, calm down and be patient. Take a look at the active users at the minute, it's not massive. Give it some time people are pretty good on this forum and give a fair and honest response.
That said, lets take a look.
OK, considering the bright background the subject is reasonably well exposed. He also seems to be well focused although the DOF seems fairly large. Contrast is nice though the, colour wise, the red channel seems over saturated.
Belated welcome to the forum,

Hello Lomond
I quite agree with you, put an image up and be prepared wait for a reply or any info theres so much stuff on here i think its great and i only few days ago, put up my first pics last night in the people section/action photos.
Hello Clarity.
Iv'e been into photography 35 years and by now know what i look for and like in a image especialy people pictures, i have judged many comps over the years and of course as everyone knows do not agree with what any judge says. its only a personal opinion of your work.
Hope this is helpful and as Lomond said don't just post on forum and go away but put in some feed back of your own.
So to your image:
first grab impression : yes its reasonable to good, the red is important if clothes were all grey or black pos would not work as well.
its got some movement as shown by shape in legs of shorts, so we can see this swing is at least in motion, reasonable face expression. may be a little soft due to that movement.
NOW the important bit for you to take on board and only you will know if this is improving it.
I feel subject has to many distractions therefore weakening its strength, Take 2 pieces of card place them over the picture to mask out most of sky & buildings to the left & right, now what you have left has much better impact, losing the diagonal or sloping horizon at same time.
using some editing software the bit of sky above the head could benefit from more tone/density
as exposure is good in this shot sky could be easily sorted in levels etc.
yes the feet look very large in the frame so if you want to have some fun with this shot of your cousin as mentioned above. put some text on the soles of shoes using your editing software.
say LEFT and RIGHT.
photographing a wedding years ago the groom was kneeling at the alter i noticed left & right on his shoes it made a humorous picture.
Have fun
Regards Martin (huckaback Photo)
