Ixus v2 file transfer

Is it possible to transfer files from the camera to the computer without using Zoombrowser or any other program ? My old Fujifilm worked as an external harddrive, is this possible with the ixus camera ?

I think this MAY be possible as long as you install the drivers for it. I installed the software before testing whether windows sees it as an external drive. Now however(after software is installed) my Windows(XP) does see it as another drive under My Computer.
