Inside looking out. Standing on the dike, which protects us from the water.
The picture was not much, but I played a bit with it: blurred the distance and dragged it through a PS filter (buzz pro; simplifier>remove) and now it's a bit "watercolor-ish", and I like it a bit better.
What do you think?

I really like the zoom effect.... kinda looks like a painting. I don't care for the first shot, just doesn't look right (even though that's what your going for). I guess it's too much inbetween real and effect. Anyway I'm babbling....

Actually, I really do like the first shot :o . It's the grass on the left that I don't like, it's too green so it's taking my eye off the picture... but the rest, it really looks good, like a painting.

I agree with Fills..
I think that the first shot should either be even more like a painting or more like an actual photo, not so much in between.

The "third" is a detail of the first, which I did because I thought that the effect was lost in the first attachment. Probably it could look more like a painting, I think you are right. I will have to delve more into PS then, and I have my hands full getting to know my new camera right now. Which is lots of fun.
Thank you

Cool effect.........gave some life to a somewhat boringly lit scenery.
