August 5 , 2008 -- Noise Ninja for Aperture released
PictureCode today officially released a Aperture plug-in version of its top-rated Noise Ninja software, which removes high-ISO noise and grain from digital images. The official release is available on the download page (http://www.picturecode.com/download.htm).
All I can say right now is, Yeeaaaaaaah :)

I have spent some time using it and I believe it is solid. I like it so far.

The full version price is ok, better priced than most Aperture plug-ins I've seen so far.

Yeah for me the upgrade was only 20 bucks.
Not bad IMHO and well worth it as to me NN is the best noise program around.

How come the cost was only 20$ for you? Was it because you had NN for Photoshop?

Yeah I already had the pro package I purchased a year ago. So the upgrade cost to aperture was just 20 bucks

Well thats cool because I have that also so Whoopie!
And I aparently found out I will be able to get Aperture free when I start working at Apple, I just have to ask the right people.

Not so happy here - $79USD for the aperture plug in compared to $34 for the mac standalone. A lot to pay for the convenience of having it as a plugin (yeah, I know, 16bit v 8 bit etc etc, but a lot for one plug in for an non pro)

Well, that's significantly better than the $249 USD for the Viveza plug in that I'm testing out. I'm with you, they should have an Aperture plug in at a much lower cost, instead we have to buy a bundled version.
