Are you sure that's not a deer standing on its hind legs? Sure looks like a deer.

Just kidding, mate. That's actually a nice picture. :)

I hear there are a couple of them running around wild and loose in Montreal (Canada) but no one's been able to get a picture of them yet.

What do you mean you hear. I was sitting right beside you on the "confirmed" sighting.

Rockone - nice shot. Looks like you can get relatively close to these guys.

Looks like it has a toothpick in it's mouth. Walking Tall and Proud though. :D

Shhhhh! I was just trying to lend some credibility to my kangaroo sighting.

Something that can't be said about the deer in Montreal, though. I'd consider myself very fortunate to get a deer shot half as good as the kangaroo shot that RockOne got.

Thanks for the comments

Looks like they may have taken a wrong turn somewhere :-) :-). The face definitely looks a bit like a deer - guess its not surprisiing really since they are ecologically equivalent.

This one was taken out a car window. If I tried to get out of the car it would have been off real quick. Not sure about the distance (its had a little cropped off the top and sides), but I'd guess no more than 100 metres at most. There were actually a few, this one just happened to be the closest :-)

Looks like it has a toothpick in it's mouth
Not sure what that is ? Something it was eating perhaps ?. If I was any good at PSing I'd turn it into a cigarette :-) :-) :-)

If you get a shot of the Montreal roo, I'd be interesting in seeing it. :-)

:-) :-). Where theres smoke...theres a photographer :-)
PacAce is doing a good job of balancing on the barb wire fence :-). Luckily he didn't take offence (A fence :-) ).
Re the avatar - I think it might have looked better with a white lens, but couldn't find one :-). Oh well, a 20D will have to suffice for now. ! CANONOROO ??.

Kangaroos might be good phtographers. They have a built in camera bag :-).
