Ok, I have had the PRO1 since Christmas but I think I might be going to an EOS-20D by summertime. My question might seem stupid, but would this lens:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000053HH5/ref=pd_cpt_gw_1/103-8991330-6095011
Work on my PRO1 until I goto the 20D? I have the 52MM to 58MM adapter on, but I'm guessing I can't just twist this baby on. Am I correct?

No, that lens would not work on your Pro1. That lens mounts directly to an EOS camera body and is not mountable via a filter thread adapter.

Excellent. Thanks! I'll just buy it and keep it for when I get the 20D. Now I'll just get a telephoto that works on the PRO1.

Hmm, I wouldn't buy from that site as they are just plain lying about the pricing. That lens is cheaper from B&H anyway. Bargains are not always what they seem.

Thanks for that info. I decided on not getting this one anyways. I'm going with one that has IS as well.
I don't know how you say Amazon is lying about the pricing though but hey, whatever. I already have a buyer for my PRO1 so I'm just waiting for the right time to purchase a 20D.
Thanks for the insite!

I don't know about Amazon lying, but there are better, and cheaper sites to buy from. An example is:

$549.94 after rebate.

I believe he may be referring to some of the offerings on Amazon being third-party offerings, where Amazon just posts what the other party claims.
