Yeah i saw that and before taking the time i yelped "whoa" and my coworkers were all startled asking what was wrong.

It's fake is what is wrong :(

Yep - it is a 5D. We'd at least see 3 custom settings on the dial, just for starters.

i''m not seeing how a back hotshoe automatically means "fraud"? i'm not saying that this isn't a fake, but there have been other canon DSLRs with black hotshoes.

yes but every new camera since the 1DIII now has a silver hotshoe
