D60 & MAC OS X

I cannot connect my D60 to my Mac G4 when using OS x. It's OK when I use 9.2.2. I get a warning that this is "Not supported by OS X". The Apple Web site has the D60 listed as a compatible camera and does not need any special software to connect. Any ideas?

Details are always important in these issues. What OS version do you have, what iPhoto version, and what Mac?

I'm using 10.2 and ImageCapture works like a charm with the D60 via direct connect and with my firewire card reader. The card reader is WAAAAYYY faster.
